Got questions? We've got answers!

Is there training provided?

Yes, ClubZap provides training to ensure that club administrators and key users are fully equipped to use the platform effectively. The training covers all essential features, including communication tools, membership management, payments, and event scheduling. Training sessions are typically conducted online, and clubs can request additional support as needed. The goal is to make onboarding seamless so that clubs can maximize the benefits of ClubZap with minimal effort. Additionally, ClubZap offers ongoing support through its help center, FAQs, and customer support team.

Is there a limit to the number of admin users?

No, ClubZap does not impose any restrictions on the number of admin users a club can have. This allows clubs to assign multiple administrators to manage different aspects of the platform, such as communications, membership, payments, and fixtures. Having unlimited admins ensures that responsibilities can be shared among different committee members or volunteers, making club management more efficient. Each admin can be assigned the necessary permissions to carry out their role while maintaining data security and control.

Do you do pitch booking?

No, ClubZap does not currently offer pitch booking functionality. While the platform provides a range of features for managing club communications, memberships, and payments, pitch booking is not included as part of its services. However, many clubs use ClubZap alongside other pitch-booking solutions to manage their facilities effectively. Our official partner for pitch booking is SportsKey.

Do you charge for training?

No, ClubZap does not charge for training. As part of its commitment to helping clubs succeed, ClubZap provides free training sessions to ensure that administrators and key users understand how to use the platform effectively. This includes onboarding sessions, guidance on key features such as membership management, communication tools, and payments, as well as ongoing support when needed. The goal is to make the transition to ClubZap as smooth as possible without additional costs for clubs.

Is there a trial so I can try ClubZap out first?

Yes, ClubZap offers trials on a case-by-case basis. If your club is interested in testing the platform before committing, you can reach out to the ClubZap team to discuss your needs. Depending on your club’s requirements, a trial may be arranged to allow you to explore the features and see how the platform fits your club’s operations. ClubZap is designed to be user-friendly, and the team is happy to provide demonstrations or answer any questions before you sign up.

Is billing done monthly or annually?

ClubZap primarily operates on an annual billing model, but monthly billing is also available. The annual plan is often preferred by clubs as it simplifies budgeting and ensures uninterrupted service throughout the year. However, for clubs that prefer a more flexible approach, a monthly payment option can be arranged. The ClubZap team can provide more details on pricing and payment structures based on your club’s needs.

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your account, but it must be done within the terms of your contract. ClubZap operates under a service agreement, so clubs that wish to cancel should review the contract terms regarding notice periods and any potential obligations. If you’re considering canceling, it’s recommended to contact the ClubZap support team to discuss your options and ensure a smooth transition.

Can I change my plan later on?

Yes, you can change your plan at a later stage. ClubZap offers flexibility for clubs that may need to upgrade or adjust their plan as their needs evolve. Whether your club is expanding, adding more members, or requiring additional features, you can reach out to the ClubZap team to modify your plan accordingly. The team is available to provide guidance on the best options based on your club’s size and requirements.

Can you support split-the-pot and 50/50 draws?

Yes, ClubZap fully supports Split-the-Pot and 50/50 draws as part of its lotteries and fundraising features. These are popular fundraising methods for clubs, allowing participants to enter a draw where half (or a set portion) of the funds collected go to the winner, and the rest supports the club’s activities. ClubZap provides an easy-to-use platform for organizing and managing these draws, ensuring a seamless experience for both clubs and participants. For more details on how to set up and manage these fundraising efforts, visit our Lotteries & Fundraising page.

Do you support draw-the-joker?

Yes, ClubZap supports Draw-the-Joker, another popular club fundraising initiative. Clubs can set up and manage Draw-the-Joker games through ClubZap’s platform, making it easy to sell tickets, track entries, and announce winners. This feature helps clubs streamline their fundraising efforts while engaging their members and community in an exciting way. For more information, check out our Lotteries & Fundraising page.

Do you need a lottery license?

Yes, clubs need a lottery license to run fundraising draws such as Split-the-Pot, 50/50, and Draw-the-Joker. The specific requirements depend on local regulations, so it’s essential to check with your local police station or district court to ensure compliance. Some fundraising efforts may fall under exemptions or require simplified permits, but it’s always best to coordinate with the relevant authorities to avoid any legal issues.

Can you pay out prize money through the system?

No, ClubZap does not currently support direct prize payouts through the system. While ClubZap facilitates ticket sales and fundraising efforts, prize distribution needs to be managed separately by the club. Clubs can handle payouts via bank transfers, cash, or other preferred payment methods. However, all transaction records remain accessible within the system for transparency and accounting purposes.

Are there limits to the amount of money which can be collected or given away as part of a fundraising effort?

No, there are no limits imposed by ClubZap on the amount of money that can be collected or given away as part of a fundraising effort. However, clubs should always ensure compliance with local lottery and fundraising regulations, as some jurisdictions may impose caps on prize amounts or require additional approvals for large-scale draws. It’s advisable to review legal requirements and consult authorities if running high-value lotteries.
